Tarn Outdoor Centre is a unique and superb barn conversion in a traditional Cumbrian hill farm setting. Spectacular views over the Uldale Valley, Cautley Spout, Wild Boar fell and the Howgills make the Centre an idyllic base for walkers and a peaceful, rural retreat for those wanting to get away from it all. It is a great venue for parties, celebrations or family get togethers.

The Farmstead dates back to the 17th Century and the barn has been recently converted and extended to an exceptional standard whilst maintaining original features and character.

The Centre offers self-catering group accommodation with flexible dormitories/bedrooms, lounge, kitchen/dining area, washrooms and drying room.

There is accommodation for groups of up to 24 people. Groups with higher numbers can be catered for by camping in the grounds of the Centre. If this option is of interest to you please discuss it with us before booking.

The Centre is an ideal facility for any group: walking groups, cycling groups, youth groups, church groups, special interest groups, clubs, family reunions etc.
